Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April 25, 2017 SPR17/557 Michael Ward Town Administrator/ Records Access Officer Town of Clinton 242 Church Street Clinton, MA O1 510 Dear Mr. Ward: I have received the petition of Paul Silvester, President of Mass C. O.P., Local 151 appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Clinton- Town Administrator's Office (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Silvester requested records detailing the Town's expenditures in regards to legal services on behalf of all Town departments. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Silvester petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Town is in possession of the requested records and intends on providing Mr. Silvester with copies. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Town provide said response within ten (10) business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Silvester may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days. See C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
