Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May 1, 2017 SPR17/579 Carolyn Bebris Records Coordinator Methuen Police Department 90 Hampshire Street Methuen, MA O1 844 Dear Ms. Bebris: I have received the petition of Arthur Grenier appealing the nonresponse of the Methuen Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Grenier requested general orders for motor vehicle crash investigations and towing and inventory of motor vehicles, as well as the general order for body cameras. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Grenier petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Grenier's request via email on May 1, 2017. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Grenier may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08.
