General Counsel Massachusetts Department of Transportation 10 Park Plaza Suite 3 510 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Jacks: I have received the petition of Attorney Mickey Long, on behalf of his client Steve Williams, appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (DOT) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Long requested documents regarding "[b] ridge replacements." Having received no response, Attorney Long petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated May 8, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the DOT's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
