The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May 12, 2017 SPR17/597 Capt. Michael McLean Town of Lexington-Police Department 1572 Massachusetts Ave. Lexington, MA 02173 Dear Captain McLean: I have received the petition of John Sheehan appealing the response of the Town of Lexington Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Sheehan requested records pertaining to a client he is representing. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I was informed that the Department will provide a more substantial response. With the proviso that Department will provide a revised response without delay, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Sheehan may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
