Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May 12, 2017 SPR17/603 Julie Ciollo Massachusetts Department of Transportation Ten Park Plaza, Suite 7760 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Ms. Ciollo: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the nomesponse of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Herman requested records regarding an identified incident. Having received no response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated May 12, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
