Murray Supervisor ofR ecords May4, 2017 SPR17/610 Marsha Conley Paralegal Weymouth Town Council 75 Middle Street, Second Floor Weymouth, MA 02189 Dear Ms. Conley: I have received the petition of Attorney Jason Rogers appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Weymouth-Town Clerk's Office (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Attorney Rogers requested "records relating to the HVA C renovations at the DPW Administration Building Project, and the related contract between the Town of Weymouth and Riverdale Plumbing & Heating Inc." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Rogers petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Town is in possession of responsive records and intends on proving Attorney Rogers with a response to his request. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Town provide said response within ten (1 0) business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy ofthis response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Attorney Rogers may appeal the substantive nature ofthe Town's response within ninety (90) days.
