The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 18,2017 SPR17/679 Pamela R. Carver Clerk for the Board of Trustees Boston Public Library 700 Boylston Street Boston, MA 02116 Dear Ms. Carver: I have received the petition of Don Saklad appealing the response of the Boston Public Library (Library) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Saklad requested "listings for all Boston Public Library staffs names/Title/Position/Division/Unit." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Saklad petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I learned that a representative from the Library intends on providing Mr. Saklad with the requested records by June 9, 2017. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Library provides Mr. Saklad with said response on, or before, June 9th. It is preferable to send an electronic copy ofthis response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Saklad may appeal the substantive nature of the Library's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
