The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 23, 2017 SPR17/682 Lynn Bouchard City Clerk City of Leominster 25 West Street Leominster, MA 01453 Dear Ms. Bouchard: I have received the petition of William Thoms appealing the response of the City of Leominster (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Thoms requested six categories ofrecords concerning an identified street in the City as well as various documents concerning a court case. Objecting to the City's initial response dated May 10, 2017, Mr. Thoms petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the City responded to Mr. Thoms' request with a response sent on May 16, 2017. Whereas the basis of this appeal was an objection to City's May 10th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed in light the provision of the supplemental response. Mr. Thoms may appeal the substantive nature of the City's May 16th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08. Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
