The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 24, 2017 SPRl 7 /697; SPRl 7 /699 Michelle Kalowski, Esq. Deputy Legal Chief Counsel Massachusetts Port Authority One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S East Boston, MA 02128 Dear Attorney Kalowski: I have received the petition of Sarah Bayer of SEIU Local 32BJ appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Bayer requested records relating to airport employee badge numbers at two specifically identified airports, as well as revenue reports from various corporations associated with the airport(s). Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Bayer petitioned this office and these two appeals were opened as a result. Subsequent to intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that Massport intends to provide Ms. Bayer with a response for both of these inquiries. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that said response is provided within ten business days. Ms. Bayer may appeal the substantive nature of Massport's response within ninety days. See C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Supervisor of Records cc: Sarah Bayer One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre• pre@sec.state.ma.us
