The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords June 1, 2017 SPR17/731 Ms. Connie S. Wong Records Access Officer City of Boston Fire Department 115 Southampton Street Boston, MA 02118 Dear Ms. Wong: I have received the petition of Scout Friendly appealing the nonresponse of the City of Boston- Fire Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Scout Friendly has requested "all Computer Aided Dispatch Transcripts (CADs), all EMS calls, all Calls For Service Reports, all incident reports, all fire reports, all audio tape/digital files for 911 calls, all other documents and all log book entries pertaining to 1055 Commonwealth Ave. from Jan. 1, 2017 to the present." Having received no response, Scout Friendly petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response would be provided without delay. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Department responds to Scout Friendly's request. Scout Friendly may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, flJMu>._~ Rebecca S.
