The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords June 1, 2017 SPR17/733 Ms. Connie S. Wong Records Access Officer City of Boston Fire Department 115 Southampton Street Boston, MA 02118 Dear Ms. Wong: I have received the petition of William Zurick appealing the nonresponse of the City of Boston- Fire Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Mr. Zurick has requested "all Computer Aided Dispatch Transcripts (CADs), all EMS calls, all Calls For Service Reports, all incident reports, all fire reports, all audio tape/digital files for 911 calls, all other documents and all log book entries pertaining to 1055 Commonwealth Ave. from Sept. 1 2016 to Dec. 31, 2016." Having received no response, Mr. Zurick petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response would be provided without delay. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Department responds to Mr. Zurick's request. Mr. Zurick may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
