Lowell, MA 01852 Dear Attorney Wellock: I have received the petition of Arlenis Joaquin appealing the nomesponse of the City of Lowell Law Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Joaquin requested identified police records. Having received no response, Ms. Joaquin petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that no written request had been made to the Department. Once the Department received a copy of her request from this office, a response was provided. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
