The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords June 27, 2017 SPR17/810 Kate Silva Director of Public Records/Grievance Manager Massachusetts Department of Correction 50 Maple Street Milford, MA 01757 Dear Ms. Silvia: I have received the petition of Mr. Santos appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Partnership for Correctional Health (MPCH) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Santos requested "treatment records for all injuries which occurred in November 05,2017 accident" Having received no response, Mr. Santos petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the proper agent for handling public record requests never saw the inquiry. Nonetheless, after MPCH was made aware of this appeal, a representative within MPCH noted their willingness to provide a response. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that MPCH provide said response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy ofthis response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Santos may appeal the substantive nature ofMPCH response within ninety days. See C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
