The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords June 27, 2017 SPR17/812 Patricia E. Dzuris Town Clerk Town of Chelmsford Chelmsford, MA O1 824 Dear Ms. Dzuris: I have received the petition of Stanley Mazurczyk appealing the response of the Chelmsford Town Clerk (Town) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Mr. Mazurczyk requested "performance records and complaints" against the Town Manager since the year 2000. Unsatisfied with the Town's response, which explained that "there were no records added to the file" after a previous inspection, Mr. Mazurczyk petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that this office provided the Town with a copy of correspondence that outlines Mr. Mazurczyk's specific dissatisfaction with the Town's response. As such, a representative from the Town provided Mr. Mazurczyk with a further response on June 27, 2017. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mazurczyk may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
