G. L. c. 66 - 5 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On March 20,2017, Mr. Anderson specifically requested from the Department records pertaining to the facility and its operation. Initially you had sent him a letter dated March 3 lSta sking him to allow the Department additional time to respond to his request. After agreeing on a response date of April 14'~M~r. Anderson did not hear further from the Department. Having received no further correspondence from the Department, Mr. Anderson petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I was informed that the Department will provide a more substantial response. With the proviso that the Department will provide a response to Mr. Anderson without delay and because this appeal was opened based on the Department's nonresponse, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
