The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords June 26, 2017 SPR17/850 Myrna Solod Records Access Officer Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination One Ashburton Place, Room 601 Boston, MA 02108 Dear Ms. Solod: I have received the petition of Aliana Brodmann von Richthofen appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) to her request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. von Richthofen requested records verifying that a specific correction was made to records within the possession of the MCAD. Claiming to not yet have received a response from the MCAD, Ms. von Richthofen petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I learned that a representative from the MCAD intends to provide Ms. von Richthofen with a response to her appeal. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the MCAD provide Ms. von Richthofen with a response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. von Richthofen may appeal the substantive nature of the MCAD's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
