Box 946, Industries Drive Norfolk, MA 02056 Dear Ms. Snow: I have received the petition of William Murray appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Correction (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Murray requested records regarding disciplinary sanctions. Having received no response, Mr. Murray petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided and mailed to Mr. Murray on May 24, 2017. The Department states it resent the response, via mail, on June 28, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Murray may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S. Murray .
