The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords July 10,2017 SPR17/918 Kevin Dodge Chief of Police Town of Phillipston 50 The Common Phillipston, MA 01331 Dear Chief Dodge: I have received the petition ofKristin Stanley appealing the nomesponse of the Phillipston Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Stanley requested "copies ofWexBank (gas card) statements for the Phillipston Police Department for the period of July 1, 2015 to present." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Stanley petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Ms. Stanley's request with a response sent on June 10, 201 7 indicating that the responsive records had been compiled and were ready to be retrieved. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Stanley may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
