The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords July 13, 2017 SPR17/953 Jane Mosher-Canty Staff Counsel for Student Support Services Lowell Public Schools 155 Merrimack Street Lowell, MA 01852 Dear Ms. Mosher-Canty: I have received the petition of Arthur Grenier appealing the response of the Lowell Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Grenier requested a copy of"the most current UTL contract." Claiming to not yet have received the desired record, Mr. Grenier petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the School responded to Mr. Grenier's request with a response sent on July 13, 2017 in which a representative from the School provided Mr. Grenier with a copy of the contract after its ratification. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Grenier may appeal the substantive nature of the School's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
