The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords July 17, 2017 SPR17/968 Ashley K. Carvalho, Esq. Legal Counsel Massachusetts Port Authority One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S East Boston, MA 02128 Dear Attorney Carvalho: I have received the petition of Elsie Nolan of WBZ-TV WSBK Boston appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) to her request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Nolan requested copies of "contracts awarded by Massport to companies for updates in wayfinding or singage along the roadways in and around Logan International Airport." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Nolan petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member ofthe Public Records Division, I learned that a representative of Massport intends on providing Ms. Nolan with a response to her request. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that Massport provide Ms. Nolan with a response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Nolan may appeal the substantive nature ofMassport's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~ Rebecca S.
