G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Smith requested "[a]ll documentation including letters of resignation and emails" regarding a specifically identified individual. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Smith petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Town Administrator's office intends on providing Ms. Smith with a response to her appeal. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Town provide Ms. Smith with a response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@,sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Smith may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety days.
