The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records July 27,2017 SPRl7IlOll Officer Louis Vezina City of Chicopee Police Department 1 10 Church Street Chicopee, MA 01020 Dear Officer Vezina: I have received the petition of Seth Kershner appealing the nonresponse of the City of Chicopee Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 5 10A; see 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Kershner requested seven (7) categories of documents relating to the Department's "Special Response Team." Having received no response, Mr. Kershner petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response would be provided without delay. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that Mr. Kershner receives a response to his request. Mr. Kershner may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, LJ Rebecca S.
