Hill Communications Specialist City of Worcester 455 Main Street, Room 309 Worcester, MA 01608 Dear Mr. Hill: I have received the petition of Josh Fenton of GoLocal24 appealing the nomesponse of the Office of the Worcester City Manager (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Fenton requested "copies of all email to and from Worcester City officials relative to the Pawtucket Paw Sox." Claiming to not yet have received a substantive response, Mr. Fenton petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the City responded to Mr. Fenton via email on August 1, 2017 informing him that the City had identified records pursuant to his request and said records will be provided contingent on satisfying payment of a $470.00 fee. Whereas the basis ofthis appeal was opened as a result of the City's failure to provide a substantive response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Fenton may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
