The Comanormwealth sf Massachusetts William Francis Galvin. Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervzsor of Records July 31,2017 SPRl7/1029 Michael Tencellent Department of Conservation and Recreation 25 1 Causeway Street Boston, MA 02 11 4 Dear Mr. Tencellent: I have received the petition of Attorney Matthew A. Morris appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 5 66 l0A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Morris requested "all employment records of his client John P. Hannon from January 1, 1973 through December 3 1, 201 7." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Morris petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the DCR responded to Attorney Morris's request with a response dzted July 3 1, 201 7. Whereas this appeal was opened as a result of the DCR's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Morris may appeal the substantive nature of the DCR's response within ninety days. 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Matthew A. Morris, Esq.
