The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Colllillonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords August 7, 2017 SPR17/1045 Marta Leon Records Manager Old Colony Correctional Center One Administration Road Bridgewater, MA 02324 Dear Ms. Leon: I have received the petition of J.D. Carrier appealing the response of the Old Colony Correctional Center (Center) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1 OA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Carrier requested records concerning lists of films being shovvn at the Center. Unsatisfied with the Center's July 24th response which indicated that the Center did not have any responsive records, Mr. Carrier petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Center intends on providing Mr. Carrier with a response addressing his concerns. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Center provide Mr. Carrier with said response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre(a)sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Carrier may appeal the substantive nature of the Center's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S. I\-1urray Supervisor of Records cc: J.D.
