The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 14,2017 SPR17/1084 Christine Silverman Assistant to the Superintendent Leominster Public Schools 24 Church Street Leominster, MA 01453 Dear Ms. Silverman: I have received the petition of Holly Koski appealing the response of the Leominster Public Schools (School) to her request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Ms. Koski requested a copy of a specific contract into which the School entered. Unsatisfied with the School's response, which indicates that the School is not in possession of the requested record, Ms. Koski petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member ofthe Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the School informed this office that they are not in possession of the record. As such, an employee from the School informed a staff member that they intend on providing Ms. Koski with a supplemental response for the purposes of redirecting her inquiry to the rightful custodian. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the School provide Ms. Koski with a response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Koski may appeal the substantive nature of the School's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
