Murray Supervisor of Records August 15, 2017 SPR17/1086 Mr. Steven Silva Superintendent Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center Shirley, MA 01464 Dear Superintendent Silva: I have received the petition of Robert Ferris appealing the nonresponse of the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center (Center) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Ferris requested certain incident and investigatory reports. Having received no response, Mr. Ferris petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated August 10, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Center's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Ferris may appeal the substantive nature ofthe Center's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
