Tarrow, Esq. Attorney General's Office One Ashburton Place Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Tarrow: I have received the petition of Brian Sweet appealing the nonresponse ofthe Attorney General's Office (AGO) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Sweet requested all emails between two specifically identified individuals from May 16, 2013 to the present. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Sweet petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the AGO intends on providing Mr. Sweet with a response to his appeal. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the AGO provide Mr. Sweet with a response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Sweet may appeal the substantive nature ofthe AGO's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
