The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords September 6, 2017 SPR17/1167 Debi McCarthy Town of Bourne-Police Department 125 Main Street Bourne, MA 02532 Dear Ms. McCarthy: I have received the petition of Nicole M. Avitabile appealing the response of the Town of Bourne Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Attorney Avitabile requested records related to a specific matter. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I was informed that the Department provided a response dated August 30, 2017 which includes responsive records. Since this appeal was opened based upon the Department's denial of access to public records, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Avitabile may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08. Sincerely, ~~ RebeccaS. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Nicole M.
