The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords August 28, 2017 SPR17/1173 Andrea L. Stone Paralegal Springfield Law Department 36 Court Street, Room 123 Springfield, MA 01103 Dear Ms. Stone: I have received the petition of Albert Correa-Martinez appealing the nomesponse of the Springfield Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Correa-Martinez requested "any and all documents" within the possession of the Department concerning an incident on a specifically identified date. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Correa-Martinez petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Correa-Martinez's request with a response sent on August 24, 2017. Whereas this appeal was opened as a result of Mr. Correa-Martinez not having received a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Correa Martinez may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, fMutA~ Rebecca S.
