The Commonwealth of Massachusetts WilliamFrancis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records August 31, 2017 SPR17/1175 Doug Willardson Town Administrator Town of Webster 350 Main Street Webster, MA 01570 Dear Mr. Willardson: I have received the petition of Dr. Cathleen Godzik and Gail Arsenault appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Webster (Town) to their request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Dr. Godzik and Ms. Arsenault requested various records which they believe are in the possession of the Town. Claiming to not yet have received a response, the Dr. Godzik and Ms. Arsenault petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from Town intends to provide Dr. Godzik and Ms. Arsenault with a response to their appeal. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Town provide Dr. Godzik and Ms. Arsenault with a response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Dr. Godzik and Ms. Arsenault may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
