Murray Supervisor ofR ecords September 7, 2017 SPR17/1199 Kate Silvia Department of Correction 50 Maple Street, Suite 3 Milford, MA 01757 Dear Ms. Silvia: I have received the petition of Benjamin Silva appealing the nomesponse of the Department of Correction (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, §lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Silva requested "all policies and procedures relevant to the operation of the Sex Offender Treatment Program." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Silva petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department will provide Mr. Silva with a response within ten business days. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Silva may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
