Murray Supervisor of Records September 19, 2017 SPR17/1216 Lieutenant Douglas DeCosta Town of Falmouth -Police Department 750 Main Street Falmouth, MA 02540 Dear Lieutenant DeCosta: I have received the petition of Thomas Greve appealing the response of the Town of Falmouth Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Mr. Greve requested records related to a specific matter. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I was informed that the Department had provided a more substantial response dated September 8, 2017. Since this appeal was opened based upon the Department's initial response which Mr. Greve contends was "limited and unclear," I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Greve may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
