G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Sellers requested "a complete and full copy of Boston Police Crime Laboratory internal manual [sic] specifying procedures and protocols practiced and maintained specifically reflecting'' five identified subsections. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Sellers petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department responded to Mr. Sellers' request with a response sent on September 5, 2017. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
