The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords September 15, 2017 SPR17/1232 Shawn A. Williams, Esq. Director-Records Access Officer City of Boston - Public Records 1 City Hall Square Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney Williams: I have received the petition of Kara Larzelere, Esq. appealing the response of City of Boston (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on July 13, 2017, Attorney Larzelere requested "[a]ll documents concerning any lease agreements or other agreements for the use of space and/or payment for same between the City of Boston Credit Union and the City for the use of City Hall office space." After a telephone conversation with the Records Access Officer of the City, Attorney Larzelere submitted a narrowed request on July 25, 2017, requesting "any and all documents concerning any payments or other consideration made by the City of Boston Credit Union to the City for the use of City Hall space in 2017." On July 25, 2017, the City provided Attorney Larzelere with a response and provided some records on August 29, 201 7. Attorney Larzelere contends that the records provided were not responsive to her request and petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member ofthe Public Records Division staff, I was informed that the City will provide a supplemental response to Attorney Larzelere. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the City provide said response to Attorney Larzelere within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Attorney Larzelere may appeal the substantive nature ofthe City's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
