Gardner Law Department 144 Central Street, Suite 201 Gardner, MA O1 440 Dear Attorney Flick: I have received the petition of Michael Dreslinski appealing the response of the Gardner Law Department (Department) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1 OA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08( 1) . Specifically, Mr. Dreslinski requested two categories ofrecords concerning legal documents. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Dreslinski petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Department intends on providing Mr. Dreslinski with a response to his appeal. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Department provide Mr. Dreslinski with a response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Dreslinski may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
