The Commonwealth Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supen1isor ofR ecords September 21, 2017 SPR17/1333 Daniel Brunelli, Esq. Office of Chief Legal Counsel Department State Police 4 70 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Attorney Brunelli: I have received the petition of Lisa Munger appealing the nonresponse of the Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Ms. Munger requested a copy of "all records, reports, papers or documents regardless of form and specifically including electronic form where available, relative to all Department calls including journal and log/blotter from January 22, 1996 through February 5, 1996, and regardless of whether the call was initiated by the Department or at the request of and/or on behalf of any other law enforcement agency." Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department will provide Ms. Munger a response within ten business days. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Munger may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
