The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords October 3, 2017 SPR17/1387 Kathy Fortier Assistant Executive Director Medford Housing Authority 121 Riverside A venue Medford, MA 02155 Dear Ms. Fortier: I have received the petition of Catherine Ferreira appealing the nonresponse of the Medford Housing Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Ms. Ferreira requested various records concerning the "Section-8 Homeownership Program" as well as statistical data from the Authority. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Ferreira petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Authority responded to Ms. Ferreira's request with a response sent on September 29, 2017. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Authority's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Ferreira may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
