MA 0234 7 Dear Ms. Lavoie: I have received the petition of Cathy Rodriguez appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, §lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Ms. Rodriguez requested five (5) categories of records pertaining to communications between the Department and a specifically identified company. Having received no substantial response, Ms. Rodriguez petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated October 5, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
