Murray Supervisor ofR ecords October 4, 2017 SPR17/1408 Robert Curtin Assistant to Administration Town of Lynnfield 55 Summer Street Lynnfield, MA 01940 Dear Mr. Curtin: I have received the petition of Attorney Julie Connolly appealing the nonresponse of the Lynnfield Board of Selectmen (Board) to her request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Connolly requested two categories of records concerning documents and communications making reference to an identified business and location. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Attorney Connolly petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Board intends on providing Attorney Connolly with a response to her appeal. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Board provide Attorney Connolly with a response within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Attorney Connolly may appeal the substantive nature of the Board's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, flJJUM..~ Rebecca S.
