The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords October 23, 2017 SPR17/1453 Jennifer Simpson Public Records Access Officer City of Cambridge Office of the City Solicitor 795 Massachusetts A venue Cambridge, MA 02139 Dear Ms. Simpson: I have received the petition of Don Saklad appealing the response of the City of Cambridge (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Mr. Saklad requested information regarding each appointee to the Cambridge Broadband Task Force (Task Force). The City responded by providing a fee estimate to Mr. Saklad. Mr. Saldad appealed the fee estimate. In addition, Mr. Saklad notified this office that after appealing, he narrowed his request to the City for records regarding one appointee of the Task Force. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated October 23, 2017, at no cost to Mr. Saklad. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Saklad may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
