Box 4547 Salem, MA 01970 Dear Attorney Burke: I have received the petition of Todd Feathers of The Lowell Sun appealing the response of the Sex Offender Registry Board (SORB) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on September 28th Mr. Feathers requested "[c]opies of all time logs/time sheets of Sex Offender Registry Board members ... since Jan 1, 2017." On October 5th, the SORB responded to his request indicating its intention to "complete [his] request," but "may not be able to produce a response within ten days." Unsatisfied with the SORB's response, Mr. Feathers petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Based on the receipt of an email from the SORB notifying this office of its provision of a supplemental response to Mr. Feathers, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Feathers may appeal the substantive nature of the SORB's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
