Records Access Officer Massas;husetts Department of Transportation Ten Park Plaza, Suite 3510 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Doyle: I have received the petition of Heather Carito appealing the nonresponse ofthe Massachusetts Department of Transportation (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Carito requested records related to the Casey Arborway Project. In her petition, Ms. Carito states "I have heard nothing from MassDOT in response to my request." This office has emailed you a copy of the file and also mailed you a letter aclmowledging the opening of this appeal. Please note, a records access officer shall at reasonable times and without unreasonable delay permit inspection or furnish a copy of any public record, not later than 10 business days following the receipt of the request. G.L. c. 66, § lO(a). Accordingly, the Department is hereby ordered to provide Ms. Carito with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations without delay.
