The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records December 4, 2017 SPR17/1654 Patrick J. Ward Town Clerk Town of Brookline 333 Washington St Brookline, MA 02445 Dear Mr. Ward: I have received the petition of Melissa McNickles appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Brookline (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Ms. McNickles requested "copies of all reports, notes, and documents pertaining to" sanitary code compliance and code violations pertaining to "501 Boylston Street, Brookline, MA 02445." Having received no response, Ms. McNickles petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response would be provided without delay. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Town's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Town responds to Ms. McNickles' request in a timely manner. Ms. McNickles may appeal the substantive nature of the Towns's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
