Harry Hess Fitchburg Police Department 20 Elm Street Fitchburg, MA 01420 Dear Capt. Hess: I have received the petition of Donny Young appealing the nomesponse of the Fitchburg Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Mr. Young requested police reports concerning the death of an individual. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Young a response dated December 06, 2017. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Young may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
