Records Access Officer Department of Conservation and Recreation 251 Causeway Street Boston, MA 02114 Dear Attorney Connelly: I have received the petition of Debra Berg, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 20, 2017, Attorney Berg requested records pertaining to the installation of "new gas lines" at certain identified addresses. Having received no response, Attorney Berg petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that DCR had not received Attorney Berg's letter of request until November 28, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based upon DCR's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that a response is provided in a timely manner.
