Box 8000 Shirley, MA 01464 Dear Ms. Klash: I have received the petition of John Murphy appealing the nonresponse of the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center (Correctional Center) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Murphy requested a particular document pertaining to his August, 2017 classification. Having received no response, Mr. Murphy petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided by the Correctional Center. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Correctional Center's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Murphy may appeal the substantive nature of the Correctional Center's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
