Specifically, you request police reports and information on an investigation pertaining to an identified individual. After reviewing this information I find that I am unable to accept your appeal. The Public Records Access Regulations, which govern the procedural aspects of all appeals, provide records custodians with ten business days in which a response to a public records request must be provided. See 950 C.M.R. 32.06 (2) (b); G. L. c. 66, § lO(b). The ten- day time frame in which a custodian must respond has not yet elapsed. · If after ten business days have passed and the DAO denies your request or fails to respond, you may appeal to this office.
