The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords December 19, 2017 SPR17/1711 Stephanie Deeley 10 Yorks Road Framingham, MA 01701 Dear Stephanie Deeley: This office has received your appeal related to your request, dated December 8, 2017, for records from the Office of the Plymouth District Attorney (DAO). Specifically, you request police reports and information on an investigation pertaining to an identified individual. After reviewing this information I find that I am unable to accept your appeal. The Public Records Access Regulations, which govern the procedural aspects of all appeals, provide records custodians with ten business days in which a response to a public records request must be provided. See 950 C.M.R. 32.06 (2) (b); G. L. c. 66, § lO(b). The ten- day time frame in which a custodian must respond has not yet elapsed. · If after ten business days have passed and the DAO denies your request or fails to respond, you may appeal to this office. At that time this office will review the matter. Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Gail M. McKenna, Esq.
