The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords January 8, 2018 SPRlS/002 Ashley K. Carvalho, Esq. Legal Counsel Massachusetts Port Authority One Harborside Drive, Suite 200S East Boston, MA 02128 Dear Attorney Carvalho: I have received the petition of Edward Marenburg appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Marenburg requested records pertaining to two HVAC projects. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Marenburg petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that Massport responded to Mr. Marenburg's request with a response sent on January 3, 2018. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of Massport's failure to provide a substantive written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Marenburg may appeal the substantive nature of Massport's response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Edward J.
