Kathleen M. Spofford Town Clerk Town of Townsend 272 Main Street Townsend, MA 01469

Dear Ms. Spofford:

I have received the petition of Steve Sheldon dated January 9, 2018 appealing the response of the Town of Townsend (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, on December 28, 2017 Mr. Sheldon requested “any and all emails from Chief Bailey, James Kreidler to Joe Shank and or Harbor Auto Body from 12/01/2017 to present.”

Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, the Town sent an email to our office indicating they provided the responsive records on January 12, 2018. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Sheldon may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.MLR. 32.08(1).

Sincerely,

Rebecca S. a. Mawar
